2. Visit our website

When you access our website as a user, your data is stored in a log file. This data record also contains personal data in this respect. Below you will find an overview of the data stored in this data record:

  • Downloaded data size

The processing of this data is technically necessary in order to operate the website. In this respect, the legal basis for this processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the GDPR. This data is stored for the purpose of ensuring the operational security of our website and thus, for example, to be able to detect possible attacks at an early stage. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c of the GDPR. Furthermore, possible errors should be detected and their cause rectified in order to be able to provide the contractually guaranteed services (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR). The log files are stored for 3 months.

3. User authentication

Before you receive access to your data, we have implemented user authentication to authenticate you as a customer and thus ensure access control to the data. The legal basis to which we refer is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c of the GDPR. We process your user name and the associated password hash. We store this data until the purpose of the processing is fulfilled, i.e. generally for as long as you are a customer with us.

4. Inquiries by email or telephone

If you contact us by email or telephone, we will store and process your request, including all resulting personal data that you provide to us (name, request, etc.) for the purpose of processing your request. This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, provided that your request is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in processing the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The data you send to us via contact requests will remain with us until we have fulfilled the purpose of your request.

5. Rights of data subjects

You have various rights with regard to the aforementioned processing, which are presented below. As the data subject, you have the right to obtain from us, the controller, confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you are being processed, and, where that is the case, access to the personal data and the information specified in Art. 15 GDPR.

You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you and, where applicable, the completion of incomplete personal data (Art. 16 GDPR).

As a data subject, you have the right to obtain from us the erasure of personal data concerning you without undue delay where one of the grounds listed in Art. 17 GDPR applies, e.g. if the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued (right to erasure).

You have the right to demand that we restrict processing if one of the conditions listed in Art. 18 GDPR applies, e.g. if you have lodged an objection to the processing, it will be restricted for the duration of the review.

You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you which is based on point (f) of Article 6(1). We will then no longer process the personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims (Art. 21 GDPR).

Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR (Art. 77 GDPR).
